The summer season has ended well despite the economic downturn being experienced Worldwide. ProCharter’s wide geographical spread of business has limited our exposure and we are pleased that all our suppliers operated in excess of their ‘guaranteed hours’, a great achievement in this difficult market, the aircraft have been successfully redelivered back to our suppliers and with some repeat business already agreed we are looking forward to summer 2012. Our attention is now firmly on our winter business with some new suppliers operating for ProCharter. We are confident of a successful operation for both ProCharter and our customers.
ProCharter is pleased to announce that it will again be basing a Boeing 737 in Copenhagen international airport for the summer 2012 season. The aircraft will operate to mainly Eastern Mediterranean destinations with the capacity profiled towards the summer months. The fact this business has been secured so early in the summer 2012 contracting cycle demonstrates the quality of the product offered and delivered to the client. ProCharter enjoys strong relationships in Scandinavia with both clients and suppliers, with additional aircraft planned for the region and with the Copenhagen aircraft becoming a year round operation, this will ensure ProCharter stays at the forefront of the ‘inclusive tour’ seat sale market.
ProCharter’s aviation consultancy arm has been busy recently with some interesting projects ranging from providing specialist aviation advice to a leading London law firm to assisting a new EU carrier with their AOC application to operate two executive jets. This project also encompassed providing detailed costings and financial analysis and resulted in the successful award of an AOC and transfer of the aircraft to the new AOC is now in progress. ProCharter will supply a B757-200er to be based in NCL for a leading UK Airline. Working with a key supplier, ProCharter again sourced the optimum solution to secure the business. ProCharter will be basing a B737-400 in Copenhagen International airport for the summer season. The aircraft will operate to predominately Eastern Mediterranean destinations. Due to the immediate blanket ban on flying to Egypt a leading Scandinavian Tour Operator needed an alternate destination to offer their clients. The call came in on a Friday afternoon and by Monday morning the client had the new contract on their desk with all agreed commercial terms and the new airline was flying to Morocco the next day!
ProCharter’s team has been busy in a new market. The UAE with its robust aviation market has been an interesting assignment. Working with a leading Cargo and Logistics company with a global client base, ProCharter provided economic evaluations and commercial analysis, including route development, aircraft evaluation and selection with revenue and budget projections. This resulted in a final main board presentation by our team.
It has been a great summer! Despite the difficult economic climate Procharter’s business model has proved as robust as ever and we have enjoyed a successful season. ProCharter will place a 737-300 with 148y seats in MAN for a combination of UK Tour Operators. The aircraft will also operate through Glasgow Airport ‘capturing’ Glasgow peaks. The aircraft is planned to operated a combination of Eastern and Western Mediterranean destinations over the peak summer months.
